HEMI Racing Belt Tensioner
5.7, 6.1 & 6.4L HEMI Racing Belt Tensioner
2004 and Up
If you are running a supercharged Charger, Challenger, Grand Cherokee, then you know that your factory belt tensioner was not designed to stand up to the stress and strain of the added HP and Torque, especially if you are racing. Our Race Tensioner is fabricated from 6061-T6 Billet Aluminum, not cast, and features nearly 3x the spring tension vs. the stock item. Internal components include a TGP shaft, hardened bushings, proprietary spring, and thrust bearings make this the strongest and smoothest belt tensioner on the market. It has been tested and proven on the DYNO and the Track and will reduce if not eliminate belt slip, which will increase boost and HP. Best of all, it is a direct bolt-on replacement for the stock unit, no brackets, fittings or adaptors are needed. Recommended for track cars making 1000+ HP. We are so confident that our tensioner will not bend or break that we will guarantee it for life.

Serious racers are constantly pushing the envelope, and everyone knows that shaving off .001’s of a second from their ET, which translates into more win lights.
Ceramic hybrid bearings use ceramic balls and steel races. Ceramic balls weigh up to 40% less than steel balls, depending on size. This reduces centrifugal loading and skidding, so hybrid ceramic bearings can operate up to 50% faster than conventional bearings. This means that the outer race groove exerts less force inward against the ball as the bearing spins. This reduction in force reduces friction and rolling resistance. The lighter ball allows the bearing to spin faster and uses less energy to maintain its speed.
Ceramic silicon nitride balls exhibit much higher hardness than steel balls resulting in at least ten times greater ball life due to the ability to hold the surface finish longer. The ball has dramatically smoother surface properties than the best steel ball resulting in less friction between the balls and bearing race surfaces. Thermal properties are also significantly improved over steel balls resulting in less heat buildup at high speeds. Ceramic has 35 percent less thermal expansion, 50 percent less thermal conductivity, is lighter weight, and is non-corrosive.
